Best time to post on Vinted: when listings get seen

Vinted doesn’t publish when most buyers are online, so every “best time” you read is a seller’s experience, not official data. Still, the experiences line up quite well, and timing is free to get right. Here’s what sellers notice, what matters more than the hour, and how to find the best time for your own wardrobe.

Why timing matters at all

A new listing reaches people in a few ways: it can show up in search, in the newsfeeds of members who might like it, and your followers are notified whenever you list an item. All of that works best when many people are scrolling and when you’re around to answer the first questions quickly.

The times sellers mention most

  • Evenings, roughly from 7pm to 10pm, when people are home from work and browsing on the sofa.
  • Sundays, especially in the evening, when many people plan the week and shop from their phone.
  • Lunchtime on weekdays, a short second peak.
  • Around payday, at the end or the start of the month, for more expensive pieces.

The season matters more than the hour

Buyers look for what they need next. List coats and knitwear from late summer, summer dresses and sandals from early spring, and party outfits a few weeks before the holidays. A jacket listed at the perfect hour in the wrong season still waits.

Find your own best time

  1. For two or three weeks, list a few items at different times: a weekday evening, a Sunday, a lunchtime.
  2. Note how many favourites and messages each one gets in its first day.
  3. Keep the times that work for your kind of items and your buyers. Kids’ clothes, sportswear and designer pieces don’t always peak at the same time.

What beats any timing trick

  • List a few items regularly, so your followers keep getting notifications from you.
  • Make the first photo clear and the title searchable: brand, item and size. See our guide on how to sell on Vinted.
  • Price in line with similar items, a little above your minimum so there’s room for offers.
  • Show the fit. Worn photos often get more attention than flat ones. If you don’t want to pose, Vintsee puts your own photo of the item on an AI model, keeping the colour, print, logos and wear as they are.
